Last weekend our Introduction to Phlebotomy Course was in Derby. Those who attended were a fabulous bunch and everyone had fun qualifying as a Phlebotomist.
Our trainer for the weekend was Dot and if you've ever met Dot, you'll know she puts everyone at ease straight away.
In addition to training Dot also gave some advice on where look for jobs and what is expected of you when you go for them. She also went into how to get some valuable experience; from volunteering to doing our very own Live Bloods experience.
